I recently photographed a performance by the amazing Salena Jones at Jagz in Ascot.
i was amazed at her voice, especially as she has been singing for 50 years with all the Jazz greats all over the world.
Suprisingly for me, i didn't use flash, usually stage lighting doesn't flatter the performer too much and i had to be careful to take pictures when Salena was facing the light directly (see above) other times though the single stage light gave a moody dark feeling to the other images.
